St Alphonsa religious education program is committed to help children grow in their catholic faith through experience and education. Our teachers are dedicated to promote the formation of faith by following the ways of Christ. As we face the challenges of an ever changing world, our faith formation program strives to build community by sharing our faith, strengthening family bonds and social justice.

St. Alphonsa faith formation curriculum follows the faith and life series materials. We have one hour class on every Sunday after the 10:00AM mass. We work with kids by teaching from books and experiences under the guidance and supervision of our mission director Fr. Tijo Mullakkara. We also encourage kids to get involved in Holy mass by teaching Mass songs, forming a youth choir, and encouraging kids to come forward as altar boys. Our youth choir lead by Ashley Alex sings opening and closing song for Mass. At present we have 25 kids in different grades. Registration time is May to July 31. To register please contact area representatives or teachers .We prepare kids for First Holy Communion which also requires registration. Registration deadlines are necessary because materials have to be ordered to start the classes in September. However, as our motto is building spiritual base which allows continued growth in Catholic faith, please feel free to come forward at any time if you would like to register your kid. We would also like to welcome volunteers who are interested to teach and help strengthen our kids in the growth of our faith and values.

Thank you
